Stacey Olson, MSW, LISW-CP

Welcome, and thank you for visiting us.

Taking the first step toward seeking support is a courageous decision, and I’m honored you’re considering allowing me to be part of your healing journey.

I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina and am a Licensed Independent Social Worker–Clinical Practice (LISW-CP). For the past eight years, I have been dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and women navigate life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based care.

I provide individual therapy for children ages 5 and older, adolescents, and adults. My areas of specialization include childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, Sexual Assault or Victims of Crime,  individuals who have witnessed or experienced domestic violence, and mothers—especially single mothers—who are balancing the unique demands of parenting while caring for themselves.

My therapeutic approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs and draws from evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). These approaches help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing practical skills for healing, resilience, and lasting change.

While I am not a registered play therapist or art therapist, I recognize the importance of creative expression in the therapeutic process. When appropriate, I incorporate age-appropriate art activities, games, storytelling, and other creative interventions to help children, adolescents, and adults communicate, process emotions, and build coping skills in ways that feel engaging and meaningful.

I strive to create a warm, supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Whether you are working through the effects of past trauma, navigating the challenges of motherhood, helping your child overcome emotional or behavioral concerns, or simply seeking support during a difficult season of life, my goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you every step of the way.

I believe healing happens through connection, trust, and the recognition of each person’s unique strengths. Together, we can build on those strengths, develop new skills, and work toward a healthier, more fulfilling future.

I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing and hope.
